I have spent much of this election cycle feeling both sad and troubled – most strongly felt today and on November 8th and 9th. I’m trying to stifle those feelings to replace them with hope – but our elected leader does not inspire that in me.

I’m so grateful for the reminder that our hope does not lie in our elected leaders – our hope lies in Christ alone. It’s His perfect love that casts out fear. Despite who we put in elected positions – His love will prevail. I choose Love. I choose Hope.

That is what I choose to embrace today, tomorrow, and always.
